Babo Violent 2 was a freeware game developed by RndLabs. Originally released in October of 2006 as a test of a network library, the game gained a cult like following with thousands of players from around the world. The game was eventually open-sourced where players continued to host servers and play for a number of years before the master server went offline.
This archive will attempt to collect and house BV2 project files, information, and other items that may be of interest to the BaboViolent community.
NEW GAME IN DEVELOPMENT
Updated Dec, 2022
Brutal Grounds is a new top-down shooter currently being developed by the indie team at AGOG Entertainment. The game presents a modern competitive take on the "balls with guns" genre with many prior BV2 fans calling it a long-awaited spiritual successor.
The game is currently in Open Alpha with an active dev team and community.
Brutal Grounds is described as "a competitive top-down ball-rolling arena shooter where players equip a meat-filled-marble with various weapons & abilities and take to the arena to battle it out in games of capture the flag, king of the hill, deathmatch, and more".
